"Twin Blaze" Concept Development

"Danger Darrel" received another plane to his collection! This time it is a powerful dual engine airplane called the "Twin Blaze". Before beginning 3D modelling, the concept was first created as a sketch to workout the proportions and rough details.

The sketch was then exported and utilized as an underlay & reference in Blender 3D to speed up the process and work out the proportions.

Once the model was developed and the UV's unwrapped, the model was exported as an FBX and imported into Substance Painter to work out the final details and to create skins for the actual game.





The textures are then always exported in the highest resolution as these can always be compressed and resized in Unity as required. The exported textures were then applied in Blender to create a few visuals in Blender Cycles.
